Vasily Shtabnitsky, Associate Professor at the Pulmonology Department of Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University and an expert of the Live Now Foundation, believes that now, as Russia witnesses the first patients discharged from ICUs to use in-home artificial respirators, the next level would be the less traumatizing and more user-friendly, non-invasive ventilation devices.
